This session will focus on the current status of the effect on a precision-fabricated interface to decrease peri-implant disease; updates on the use of photogrammetry to efficiently fabricate a full-arch provisional without an intraoperative pickup as well as combination therapy for augmenting bone defects; and a refined approach for treating bone defects in the esthetic zone.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
Recognize the rationale for improving the microgap between the abutment and implant.
Describe the methods for efficiently utilizing photogrammetry to transfer implant position for digital fabrication of a full-arch provisional.
Explain the science that has been translated into practice for reconstructing bone defects.
Recognize a defined approach for treatment of the patient with loss of bone in the esthetic zone.
