This session will review the surgical literature for obstructive sleep apnea in adults. Main topics include goals and guidelines, intrapharyngeal versus extrapharyngeal approaches, unilevel vs. multilevel operations, staging algorithms, secondary versus primary maxillomandibular advancement with and without adjunctive procedures, standardization of success and future considerations. Telegnathic operative techniques will be illustrated with clinical cases.
