This Anesthesia Update will introduce several new anesthetic modalities and review ongoing everyday challenges faced by the OMS in an office anesthesia practice. In addition, they will introduce case-based scenarios to complement the hands-on airway and crisis management programs.

Review current management protocols for pediatric emergencies.
Explore two new medications for moderate and deep sedation, including indications, risks and benefits.
Discuss anesthetic and pain management for patients with opioid use disorders.
Analyze psychiatric medication and consequences of medication interactions.
Evaluate the perioperative observations of marijuana usage and compose proper management.
Interpret complications in case scenarios to contrast treatments.
