Bruce B Horswell MD, DDS, MS, FACS is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University. He has been in academic positions for much of his career, both in the Department of Surgery and OMFS at several institutions. Dr. Horswell's main focus over the past 30 years has been in Pediatric Maxillofacial Surgery and Trauma/Facial Reconstruction, having completed fellowship training in Australia and the UK in cleft and craniofacial related areas.
Dr. Horswell has published many articles, book chapters, edited OMFS Clinics and surgical helps to trainees primarily in the area of Pediatric Surgery. He has enjoyed giving invited lectureships in pediatric maxillofacail surgery internationally, nationally and regionally to surgical and related audiences as well as to local primary care and pediatric practices. He counts it as a distinct, deep and delightful privilege to have come alongside many children and families in the course of his surgical career.
