Dr. Hamrah is triple board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He is Fellowship Director in Facial Cosmetic Surgery at NOVA SurgiCare (accredited by the AACS) in McLean, VA as well as teaching faculty of the Medstar Washington Hospital Center OMFS Residency training program.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and he holds a Cosmetic Surgery Procedures Certification and License from the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions. He is also a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Hamrah is also Co-Founder of Alegria, a Foundation for Cleft Lip and Palate and travels to South America for his annual mission trip to perform surgeries on children and young adults with facial deformities.
He is also an author, public speaker, podcaster and beauty blogger and has published and written columns and articles for the Washington Post and other news and beauty magazines!
He has contributed to many textbook chapters and scientific articles in the field of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is one of few maxillofacial surgeons to be fellowship trained in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and to hold a license to practice Facial Cosmetic Surgery in the state of Virginia.
