Mathew Geltzeiler, M.D., F.A.C.S, F.A.R.S. is the Director of Sinonasal Oncology and Skull Base Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Geltzeiler serves as the Fellowship co-director for the Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship at OHSU. Dr. Geltzeiler studied neuroscience at Brown University followed by medical school at Boston University where he graudated summa cum laude. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology at OHSU then matriculated to the University of Pittsburgh where he completed two fellowships in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery and Advanced Skull Base Surgery. Dr. Geltzeiler specializes in the management of sinonasal malignancies plus open and endoscopic approaches to the skull base.
Dr. Geltzeiler is a member of the Skull Base Executive Committee for the American Head and Neck Society and is the Education Co-Chair for the Skull Base and Orbital Surgery Section of the American Rhinologic Society. Dr. Geltzeiler also serves on the Education Committee for the North American Skull Base Society. Dr. Geltzeiler frequently speaks at national and international meeting about the management of sinonasal cancers and skull base surgery.
