Clinical Associate Professor, TMJ surgery fellowship director

The diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea has been a major area of focus in my clinical practice, as in my research and scholarly endeavors. At the University of Michigan, I am an active member of the interdisciplinary adult and pediatric OSA teams, and routinely perform maxillomandibular advancement surgery for patients with OSA. I also have extensive experience in patient selection and peri-operative considerations for patients wishing to undergo MMA surgery. I have lectured extensively on this topic locally and nationally. My research activities reflect my commitment to improving patient selection for MMA surgery by identifying predictors of treatment success and failure. I hope to share my experience at the AAOMS annual meeting, to help improve outcomes for patients and providers alike.
