Joyce Xu, DMD, MS is a resident doctor at the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Xu completed her undergraduate education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she majored in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Neuroengineering. Following that, she stayed at Case Western to earn her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, where she explored her interest human-machine interfacing in the amputee population. After completing her research, she stayed at Case Western Reserve University and obtained her DMD in 2019. She joined the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 2019 and expect to complete her residency training in 2025. She completed her medical degree at Emory University in 2022.
