The mechanism of soft-tissue injuries present with a variety of patterns and with their own set of challenges. The three most common mechanisms are from motor vehicle collisions, firearm injuries and injuries from animal attacks, particularly canine bites. The presenters will discuss the three topics and then converse during a panel discussion on how they overlap and diverge in their management.

Describe the management and the challenges faced in repair and reconstruction of these injury types.
Explain a variety of complications that can occur in treatment of these issues.
