OMSs are directly involved in managing odontogenic cysts and benign tumors. Although they are benign and slowly growing, these tumors can attain a considerable size, making the treatment difficult. This session will discuss the pathogenesis of the different odontogenic cysts and tumors and explain the updated World Health Organization (WHO) classification system. Medical and surgical treatments and the recent advances in diagnosis, surgical planning and treatment will be shared. The management of pediatric patients with odontogenic cysts and tumors also will be covered.
